The mistakes of Conservatives and Libertarians in developing their strategies [index]
How conservatives (and libertarians) are wrong by using the same tools and methods that created the problem
■ “Errors of Conservatives and Libertarians (what not to do)“
Most Conservatives, who should support values such as those expressed by the Constitution, do not know what a democratic system is in essence.
That is, even in the Conservatives there is a lack of awareness of what a Democracy should be, and therefore there is an inability to understand what are essentially the problems to be solved (the root causes of the crisis of Western Society).
This is because even Conservatives today are imbued with statist culture, and evaluate things through top-down government ideology.
Conservatives do not understand that by now the political class has reached a position of power that can no longer be touched, and that therefore if you want to change something it is no longer possible to use the methods of action offered by the "System" (that is, it is necessary to escape from the trap of Statist thought).
In practice it is not a question of correcting the government system, of draining the swamp, but of rebuilding Democracy in an "other place" (recreating forms of decentralized Democracy on the territory).
■ “The need to understand that the problem cannot be solved with current methods and tools”
The Crisis of the West cannot be resolved with current methods and tools, even with the "Counterculture": if we do not think outside the box we will arrive at the collapse of Western Society. The Crisis of the West cannot be resolved with current methods and tools, even with the "Counterculture": if we do not think outside the box we will arrive at the collapse of Western Society.

■ “What are the causes of macro-problems? That is, what are the fundamental points on which it is necessary to intervene” [translation available]
Macro-problems such as poverty, poor health, low quality of social relationships are generated by deep causes that today afflict Western Society.
These are causes internal to individuals (induced by “modern” lifestyles).
If we do not first intervene on these causes, it is impossible to make changes in society that allow for the development of well-being again.
The basic problem is that either society functions spontaneously, or some people have an easy time assuming power by promising to solve the problems created by people's inability to manage their lives.
In the final analysis
1) it is not possible to intervene directly on the problems of society - as conservatives currently do
2) to solve the problems of Society it is necessary that people change in some way (culturally, mentally, attitudinally). That is, it is necessary for people to recover those original qualities of the human being that were lost with the development of modernity.
3) the change of people can only occur spontaneously - with a maieutic approach.
■ “The inherent problem of the Republican Party”, a chapter of my article “Politics (of the 20th century) is dead: it is necessary to restore real Democratic Politics”
Today, Republicans seem to have forgotten the essence of the issue: “Democracy is direct self-government, over all the people, for all the people, by all the people”
They ignore that the current Republic is not at all the one defined by the Founding Fathers (which remains in many small towns). And therefore they operate in a way that is destined not to produce any positive result.
Republicans should understand that, as Einstein said, if for a long time you have not been able to solve a problem, it is because there is an error in the principles that guide your action.
Among other things, current Politicians should realize that substantially changing their way of operating can bring them great advantages: they can “recycle” themselves in the role of those who, by developing a real change – like the one indicated in the Reboot of Democracy strategies - would go down in History as heroes comparable to the Founding Fathers of the United States.
■ “Why the development of authoritarianism represents an opportunity it is not just a drama”
There are opportunities inherent in the current imposition policy by the Establishment: this policy inadvertently generates pre-conditions that favor change.
This condition has already been seen in History: authoritarian regimes inevitably reach a stage of collapse.
The fact is that the errors committed in government are increasingly serious, and have led to a "point of no return": the economic crisis is getting worse and worse, and the level of incompetence (stupidity) of those who work for the Establishment (both in the public and private sectors) is constantly growing.
This leads to two disastrous consequences for the Establishment:
- the “System” is weakened by the fact that Politicians have less and less credibility and increasingly difficulty in being elected (and the Market no longer sells its products).
- the population, having reached the limits of survival, begins to develop alternatives to those that Government and Market try to impose.
Using this trend it becomes easier to develop a change.
■ “The meta-rules that govern the life of the human being“ – chapter of my article “Reboot of Democracy (synopsis): How and why to change the contrast strategies of the Establishment of Politics”
Today the inability of Politicians and Intellectuals - all indifferently, socialists or conservatives - confined in the dimension of ideologies have forgotten those are the principles of "functioning of the human being" (at an individual and social level).
The fact is that today we are used to reasoning in an abstract way - at the level of "theories" such as those of Economics - and in this way it is not possible to understand aspects of life that are not definable with rational, mathematical models.
In particular, today the memory of: has been lost.:
- Principle of the need to orient the goals of the human community towards purely human goals (for example, "the pursuit of Happiness").
- Principle of the responsibility of the Citizen with respect to the functioning of the community in which he lives.
The consequence of this is that we have lost sight of the principles on which Democracy is based:
- Democracy only works when citizens are directly involved in government actions (Democracy “by the people”)
- where Citizens are not held accountable for their roles as main actors in the development of society, Democracy cannot work.
